Glow Paint
Glow Paint Posted on: 09.12.2013 by Cherry Armintrout Hi everyone!I'm playing a party involving glow paint in a month. I'm awfully curious/worried - will glow paint get on my gear ? it's a small club. I'm using a Traktor Kontrol S4 and a Macbook Pro and I really do not want them to be damaged. DJs that have played "glow parties" before, please help me out! Thank you! | |

Jetta Drenzek 09.12.2013 | Most glow parties just put it on the people and then the UV light makes it glow. It doesn't usually get splashed around. Just put a cardboard shield around your gear (Like a D&D dungeon master uses) and it should be sufficient to protect your gear from stray splats. |
Cherry Armintrout 09.12.2013 | Wouldn't that cause it to overheat regardless? I don't believe the paint's getting splashed around, I'm pretty sure they're using powder. Does the powder get underneath faders/knobs/the keyboard? If it does, can it be cleaned out? I'm just worried because I'm super overprotective of my gear lol |
Latoria Kavulich 09.12.2013 | well if it is getting splashed around, then it is inevitable you and your gear will get splattered a bit. cover your gear in cling wrap if you need to |
