Need help with 110-118 bpm stuff
Posted on: 05.12.2013 by Hank Guidas
Hey, I mainly play disco, funk and deep house lately and usually stay at around 120 bpm. But I've found some tracks at in the range suggested in the title, which I "can't" play because I simple don't have stuff to go with it.

Labels and artists will be greatly appreciated

Haha nice one.

This is one of my favourite twisted slow jams I like to play. Sits at 114 BPM

Another nice tone 116 BPM

On the more soulful house end of things.

If you want the real deal, look for stuff on West End, Rams Horn, Casablanca or T.K labels (plus dozens of others, but a simple google will help)

Alternatively, dive through this lot....

Plenty of very good edits in there.

for mid tempo deep stuff, check out maya j coles' last album, every song on there is fantastic. As for funk, check out http://ghettofunk.co.uk. they mostly have mid tempo breaks/hip hop influenced stuff but it does go well with disco. They give out tonnes of their music for free as well which is nice

I only know Satin Jackets really. What I mean by begin is that many of the labels I know, only have tracks that start at 115 bpm and goes up to 120.

Maybe I just need to dig deeper. I believe I was a bit lazy. Sorry the topic, considered it answered for now.

What tracks labels/artists do you already have?

Have you already looked at the labels on which the tracks you have, have been released.

If not, labels genereally release similar sounding stuff.

A quick Juno/Discogs search will help.
