Native Instruments Kontrol S2 $350 (Denver, Colorado, USA)
Native Instruments Kontrol S2 $350 (Denver, Colorado, USA) Posted on: 20.01.2013 by Jeannine Drobney I am selling my native instruments kontrol S2. I purchased this unit used from craigslist about 6 months ago. The unit works great as I have gigged with it but has some minor flaws. The unit does not come with traktor software and didn't come with it from the previous owner. It doesn't come with the power cord but its USB powered and comes with the USB cable cable. I picked up a copy of Traktor from NI when i bought my F1 Kontrol. The s2 is plug and play and works fabulously with traktor 2.5. The right play button needs a firm pressing to start but has never interfered with my Mixing, ever. The cue volume cap (can still adjust volume) and the mic engage button are missing. This has not interfered with my mixing ever. I have gigged with it and I love the unit. I was skeptical about a. usb interface b. a used controller c. the ability to rock a show All of my fears were put to rest. I used to be a vinyl DJ whose circumstances recreated me as a digital DJ. I love the temp sync, don't waste time matching track tempo, put more time into being creative with effects, loop points, and cue points. Digital track searching, cataloging, and loading is super efficient, get to the track you want quickly. You can scratch on these platters. I wasn't a scratch DJ but these platters are made to scratch. Expandibility, I added a Kontrol F1 to play loops and one shots from the remix decks while I mix on the S2. I also run this along side ableton live and use the midi out (of traktor) to make some really interesting production environments. I am asking 350 but open to offers and trades plus cash. I make electronic music and use ableton, mpd 26, launchpad, uc 33, Kontrol f1 so anything that fits into that wold be of interest in trade plus cash scenarios. back s2.jpgDJTT C.jpgFront s2.jpgTop s2.jpg | |
