Corey Tronchin 10.04.2013 | I like it! Since the big money is to be made in the US, you'll get an automatic seperation of the money grabbers and the other dj's. |

Rochel Papillion 09.04.2013 | just for thoughts but if you believe about it, most djs dont just dj anymore. you have to produce and be (or have) graphic designer, marketing people promoter and all types of other shits and some of these guys have to pay those other people that do the work behind the scene so is it that ridiculous that they ask all that money? there is a certain level of success you reach where its more about putting in a show than just playing music. |

Mirian Gaura 09.04.2013 | This is the problem... “The D.J.’s wanted more money to play less,” It's happening in the UK too. |
Lashawn Maycock 09.04.2013 | ....and booze, bound to drop in price ;D If the 'EDM' DJ's are planning to ditch Beefa for LV, I'll happily chip in some money for their plane ticket (economy class though!). Good move by Pacha in some respects, Pacha had become a bit of a joke IMHO, at least with Gerber it might help gain back some credibility. |
Brunilda Kora 09.04.2013 | Ticket/door prices will be coming down, then?!? I doubt that. |

Im sure you could run Ibiza just from the amount of Brits that go there every year is what i was getting at. |
Meridith Betsinger 09.04.2013 | I wonder how this is going to affect the bottom line for them.... They sound just as greedy as the djs...their business has blown up and now they deny the people who brought them where they are. Not to be extreme, but this could probably just drive the whole thing underground again or at least big venues aren't going to be relevant anymore. |

Inez Marcinik 08.04.2013 | About time I say, no one deserves the amount of money some of those DJ's are demanding per gig. It's unlikely that it will make the entry prices to the clubs in Ibiza any cheaper though, unfortunately that's just not how the world works. |

Underground artists, such as techno artists like myself are not demanding six figures to play, not even the higher tier techno artists... There is more money overseas for underground artists. |
Lillia Datson 08.04.2013 | I dont believe Ibiza's ship is sunk just yet! I can see where pacha's owners are coming from. The money is in the states, as Dance/EDM/House-whichever genre you want to label it as, has grown more accessible over the past few years. Naturally, Bigger DJ's will migrate there, or demand more. I believe Ibiza will always be the flagship party island, if only for the UK! Hopefully lesser known people will be brought up, which is the bit i enjoyed most about ibiza, which is finding new DJ's and parties, which hopefully be springing up to keep people coming back. And if it knocks 10 euro off the tickets prices, i say bring it on! |
Rochel Papillion 08.04.2013 | something interesting is happening in Ibiza circo loco is not booking artists too, like DJ Sneak Screen Shot 2013-04-08 at 5.08.25 PM.jpg |
