Am about to order a Mackie D.4 Pro 4 channel mixer, and need a larger soundcard to pump songs from the computer to it.

Would prefer
NI Audio 8 / 10 / 6, but open to others

Otherwise, it needs to output 3 stereo channels at minimum, but 4 is preferred
Not looking to spend in excess of $200, however wiling to throw in Launchpad + Audio 2 in addition to cash
Very flexible, willing to work with any good offers

So the mixer itself sounds pretty good? How do you like the backlit EQ knobs? I thought it was a great idea, but are they too bright?

run the firewire to your macbook, install the drivers than configure it as your soundcard in traktor. It will come up as d.4 pro asio.

Ill post screenshots in a bit.

No, the picture shows the firewire card attached. So, basically I just run the Firewire to my Macbook, and traktor recognizes each separate channel on the mixer?

The d.4 has a 8 in (4 stereo) 8 out (4 stereo) card built in already

A DJ Audio 6 or Komplete Audio 6?

I will have an Audio 6 coming in probably next week that I'm looking to sell for 225.

I already checked that one, it outputs 4 balanced TRS mono, so it basically would be like a 2 channel, or a "4 out". I need a "8 out" , which is 4 channel stereo, like a NI Audio 8 has

Don't know if the Audio Kontrol 1 would work for your application....depends if your using timecode or not, but I am selling mine for $100.
