Controller drop outs

I'm looking at getting a pioneer DDJ-SX but im concerned about potential drop outs with my laptop, it lives up to the specs for Serato DJ, using DPC latency checker i occasionally get a yellow spike into the 1000us range, i know someone who has a V7, if i use that for a while and get no drop outs, will this mean i should expect the same from the DDJ? or is each controller different?

I believe specs on your laptop would be valuable info.

What do you mean by controller drop out? Audio drop out, or the controller itself? In either case, it's usually the laptop at fault, not the hardware.
