I beatmatch. I don't care whether people use sync or not.

Missing the option for both.

Beat match never sync in traktor I use quant though and odd time snap if I'm doing a lot of one shot style juggling. 75% of time use serato Dj never syn and has no quant or snap. Never correct a beatgrid in traktor or serato. If it is off most I will do is set a cue for the right beat occasional ill hit set but not usually.

I beatmatch. I always feel dirty if I auto-sync it. (Which is VERY rarely.)

Good to see that many know how to beatmatch but use sync to make things easier.

For the most part beat match. But when I'm using software I use the visual aids, however usually rely on the ears for most.

Mostly using MIDI learn button lately. Sync and controllerism. Beatmatch when classic DJ mix.

I'm with sambo with this, if its quick mixing and loop ill tap the sync button to tempo sync my new loaded track so I don't have to manually adjust the pitch fader on my 1210s

If its long blending and mixing the good old fashioned way

Both. When I'm layering techno and using 3-4 decks i use sync. But when I'm at a friend's house and they have CDJ'S I just beatmatch on those.

I ticked 'Sync' as I use it now. For my first 15 years of mixing I used the 'Beatmatch' function.

Edit: I use TempoSync as I don't bother to grid my tracks.

Both. I often use sync when I'm using a lot of loops, remix decks and the loop recorder. But often I like to play sounds technically off beat, but quite abstract so they have no definite down beat and thus have some flexibility in placement. There's no visual or physical aid that can do that, it is literally all down to how your ears perceive the sound.

Also, prepare to witness a playground fight, the likes of which you have never witnessed before.
