Question about looping on CDJ 900
Question about looping on CDJ 900 Posted on: 25.04.2013 by Anissa Perusek Not a huge user of looping on the 900s. But I was wondering. Is there any way to quick loop a 16/32 bar count other than hitting loop in/loop out? | |

I might have to recheck the tome of arcane secrets (the manual), I havent done it in a while. Make an 8 beat auto loop, and hit that combination a few times until it doubles to what length you want. |
Anissa Perusek 25.04.2013 | Honestly, I don't do anything with my tracks in RB once they're imported. |
Alphonso Deitchman 25.04.2013 | Have you checked your waveforms/beatgrids in Rekordbox carefully? It's not as accurate as Traktor and often gets BPM and grid alignment wrong. |
Anissa Perusek 25.04.2013 | I've noticed at times that even with the quantized feature on, sometimes when I loop using the loop in/loop out it sounds off. What gives? |
Alphonso Deitchman 25.04.2013 | The touchpad goes up to 32, but I believe there's no restriction on manual loops. |
Ulysses Vittetoe 25.04.2013 | 64 bar loops are the max on the CDs 2000 right? |
Alphonso Deitchman 26.04.2013 | There doesn't seem to be a way to do this on the 900. The 2000 on the other hand has the touchpad which can be used to select longer loops. |
