Help With S4 Audio Set Up. Posted on: 25.04.2013 by Glenn Liebenstein I was running the S4 with a Pyle Pro Hybrid amp through the CD/DVD input before someone spilled all over it! So I got a new set up but Im getting nothing to the Amp, amp powers on, S4 powers and is responsive with the labtop, but Zero sound from speakers and the LEDs on the amp don't move. This is what I'm runningS4 to Technical Pro LZ6200 with RCA's from S4 main out to input on amp LZ6200 to 2 Gem Sound Tr100-1 through banana clips....i got a sub and some bigger speakers on the way but wanna start playing ASAP. Here are the specs on the amp and speakers. LZ6200 6200 watts peak power 1500 watts @ 2 ohms 900 watts @ 4 ohms 500 watts @ 8 ohms Inputs: Balanced XLR, 1/4'', RCA Outputs: Speakon, Banana binding post Dual cooling speed fans Iridescent blue LED meter Clipping indicator per channel Bridge / stereo selector Built-in key lock (cuts audio output to prevent tampering) Dimensions: 19''w x 3.5''h x 11.5''d Weight: 21 lbs Voltage: 110-220V Switchable Again i got nothing here. | Glenn Liebenstein 26.04.2013 | Here is the speaker speaks 350 watts 10" woofer with high tempered voice coil Piezo driven horn bullet super tweeter Carpet finish Steel corners & Heavy duty handles Inputs: Dual 1/4" and binding post 8 ohms 23 lbs 21" x 16" x 13" The speakers work with a amp I tested at radio shack. They are passive and work when I plug them into the 1/4 inch inputs but they don't get loud of course. So I'm going to try the 1/4 inch main out to the main input on the amp and hope that works. It's like I'm getting no signal to the amp from the s4. |
| Alphonso Deitchman 26.04.2013 | Have you tried using the TRS outputs of the S4? Does the amp work with any other audio source? And do the RCA outputs of the S4 work on other speakers? |
