Do Vestax own Serato?
Do Vestax own Serato? Posted on: 26.04.2013 by Ressie Losiewicz Do Vestax own Serato? Apparently they do according to my friend.... He said that he bumped into the Vestax guys at BPM a few years ago and they told him that they do. Not that it really matters but can any of you confirm or deny this statement? | |

Emelina Chillson 27.04.2013 | "Rane Corporation is the company that exclusively manufactures the hardware necessary to operate a fully functional Scratch Live system utilizing Serato Control Vinyl and CD. Serato Scratch Live software is licensed exclusively to Rane Corporation." http://rane.com/serato.html So are you trying to say NI owned the final scratch boxes because they had a similar partnership altho back then stanton's name was all over everything. |

Emelina Chillson 27.04.2013 | My apologies. Serato owns the software side and Rane owns the hardware side. At least according to their website and warranty paperwork. |

Emelina Chillson 26.04.2013 | Rane does own serato. Rane manufactures the Sl soundcard as well. |

Addie Engbrecht 26.04.2013 | Did he actually say Rane? That would make make just a little more sense |
