Wilton Keuning 11.06.2013 | Everyone who wanted a new Haswell MBP/MBPr, hold out! There is a hardware conference in 3 month. It's a miracle they said as much as they did about hardware at WWDC. |
Nedra Fresneda 11.06.2013 | Been playing with 10.9 for an hour or so. So far it seems snapier as 10.8 if not more on my old mid 09 with native apps, Safari takes a BIG speed boost over 6.0.5. Didn't have time to try any music related apps yet but if it's anything like 10.8 DPs there wouldn't be any issues. Most of the manufacturers already did x64 drivers for Mountain Lion so those should translate effortlessly. |

Those were the two huge points that have convinced me to get the new MBA. Don't get too down about MBP being absent. I'm sure we'll hear about some Haswell MBPs and slimmer and lighter retina MBPs. |
Ara Tima 10.06.2013 | No goddamn new Macbook Pro. Argh. Now the dilemma begins. I desperately need a new computer. I was waiting for this event expecting a Haswell chipped Macbook Pro Retina. I've been putting off my purchase for a few months with that in mind. Now I'm stuck with the decision of either one of the new Air's (I've got an old 2008 MBA at the moment) or do I keep waiting for the new MBP.... Which could be months... It basically comes down to Retina display v Haswell chip. |

I don't believe spec reqs will differ much from 10.8 since it looks like most of the work was geared towards optimisation of resources, if they do i'm screwed I find it funny that multiple monitor displays with full screen apps is a "feature". It's something they should have nailed from day one in 10.7. |
Rosina Steinkuehler 10.06.2013 | Now if they could just take a break from WWDC and reboot the Apple developer web server a version of Mavericks is waiting for us to start testing. |
Rochel Papillion 10.06.2013 | a few producers on twitter were expecting a new logic pro |
Kyra Ramquist 10.06.2013 | It's polished aluminum. |
Johnsie Kingrea 10.06.2013 | I'm confused is the new Mac Pro aluminum or black plastic? I believe it's incredible they've packed that kind of power into something an 1/8th the size. Also i'm super stoked for Mavericks and iOS 7. |
Marshall Aby 10.06.2013 | I'll find the tabbed finder and multiple monitor functionality useful in 10.9 |
Ashanti Andreacchio 10.06.2013 | Traktor was in the last add |
Rosina Steinkuehler 10.06.2013 | That tagging feature will be awesome for music library organization |
Trey Brune 10.06.2013 | Finally! A new Mac Pro, I'd been waiting so long for this. Can't say I'm a huge fan of the design, but it does seem very powerful. At this point all I care about is if you can still install your own PCI cards (Pro Tools HDX anyone?). |
Ashanti Andreacchio 10.06.2013 | The new Mac Pro loocks like a trash can but it's spec are amazing |
Albertina Fay 10.06.2013 | I see you are a tech-geek like me!! |
