If the 2000 ever gets done, I might start looking at the V-Moda.
I find the 25s and the 2000s quite similar in terms of accepting big heads, but maybe i don't have as big as a head as you..

I need a new cable - left hand side sometimes fades out a bit until I fiddle with the cable. Do you get these from Sennheiser?

I bought a HD600 replacement cable for my HD25's, much stronger and a little longer, but you lose the 1/8th" option.

You could pay one of those guys that do retrofits (even detachable) but I reckon the prices would suck.

It seems like the "lolipop" would be the best way to go deaf.

Great headphones but the poorest quality cable ever. Gone through 2 so far. No idea why they just don't release a higher grade quality cable for them as I would happily pay for it.

Yep, super expensive though just for a cable. Don't buy off eBay, just got a cable from there, was a fake, it worked but was shit quality. Djkit sell original slightly cheaper cables.

Are these still pro? I thought they had (finally) been surpassed by other headphones.

I've been using mine for ... 5 years I believe? Still going strong (listening to them now in fact!).

That's a $300 custom lollipop with a BPM LED. ^

They are so much more comfortable to use than headphones.

Like I said before, I would get one if I was 100% sure I always had good monitors.

Google "Lollipop Headphone"

Old school dudes love them.

Best headphones for DJing with a hat on.

Only drawback is if you jump into a system with bad echo/delay and no monitors.

Those lollipops won't let you split cue/mix like normal headphones will.
