DJM-2000 to Amp - When I kill the EQs, I can still hear the track playing, how to fix

Hey guys! Sorry, I haven't been really active lately. But I'm back with a question!

I'm redoing my whole setup (been doing it for over a month, I know) and I just plugged in my mixer and my amp. Weirdly, when I'm playing with the EQs, and turn the knobs to 0, I can still hear the track playing (something that was not happening with my old setup). Any ideas if that's normal? And how to fix it if it's not?

Thanks guys!

what they said. at the moment your EQs are set to have -26db as their lowest point. setting the mixer to to "isolator" will provide with a full kill EQs.

The Isolator EQ switch is in the bottom right section of the mixer next to the fader curve settings.

do you have the channel EQs set to the isolator mode?
