I was hoping to be able to use cable USB adapter to run tpipad app like a z1... Unfortunately doesn't work. So what changed with the new version of firmware?

I'm sure it will work externally but it would be awesome if the midi features worked too

Griffin type splitter to rcas... Doesn't matter now. I was just testing stuff out. I use iTunes and not traktor dj for "dinner" music. I just thought it would be nice to have a more portable system ifs wanted it BUT I always drg out the 1200s to every gig.

What RCA's and from where ?

You need the CCK to get audio output from the iPad in external mixing mode (or any mode).

30.06.2013		I have the kit but its pointless. It would be better to run the rca's directly into the mixer externally so you have controls over eqs and crossfader... Cck kit only allows master out with no external controls

29.06.2013		The Z2 can be used as a TDJ sound card using the CCK, but not as a MIDI controller afaik.
