Got Focusrite 2i2 + Beyerdynamic DT880, now what? Posted on: 04.07.2013 by Vikki Falkenrath I made a thread here on the community
to find out what I should buy to hear good sound from my poor laptop.I just bought a Beyerdynamic DT880 and a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 audio interface. Now I don't what to install the audio interface before knowing how it works. Is there something I should know before? Will it replace my laptop's audio? How do I change from hearing using the audion interface + headphones to just the laptop's speakers? Thanks | |

Irwin Ney 03.07.2013 | By poor laptop I assume you use windows, right? If you have your audio interface pluged in, it will not replace your laptop audio, but it will create more outputs that will send sounds separeted from your laptop audio. Go to Control Pannel > Hardware and Sounds > Manage Audio Devices If you had setup your interface alredy, the list should had your device. For traktor, VDJ, or any other DJ Software, you can choose what interface (onboard or USB) will output the sound. I hope it helps. Send more information as your OS version and software that you will be using to listen or output music so we can help you better. |
