[Routine Video] Daft Punk - Get Lucky Remixed on Kontrol F1

I collaborated with a local singer in my city to produce this remix of Daft Punk's Get Lucky. We worked together on the instrumental and then exported the track into separate stems in order to perform the song live. It also involves a medley of other Top 40 songs after the drop. This is the result!

Thanks guys! I'm happy you like the result. I believe it is a good way to bring more performance into DJing. Of course the drawback is that it takes a fair amount of preparation to make the stems and ensure they are all beat gridded properly.

I used Adobe Premiere for the editing and Snagit to screen capture Traktor.

This is awesome, except I can't help notice the similarities to the chocolate rain guy to your singer.

Yea, for sure.

I just don't believe that this was the right song for him. He sounded much much better when the pitch was lower.

Well we know its real and not autotuned or anything. So real respect for that.

I love your F1 vids, but I gotta agree with Nike. I'm not saying he's a bad singer, but it just didn't fit. It sounded rather weak as if the high parts were outside of his normal vocal range so he's sort of hitting it but wavering.

That is the best use of an F1 I have seen a long while. Had me and my Mrs nodding along from start to end.

Really, really cool work.
