Traktor - Sound is coming through my macbook and not my speakers
Posted on: 27.11.2012 by Annice Saed
Hi, I have a midi controller connected to my macbook with traktor pro 2. I am getting sound through my laptop and the sound is working, however, i need to route the sound through my mixer instead.

How can I rearrange it so the sound isn't coming through my macbook but through my mixer? I'm new to traktor.

Please help if you know, I would appreciate any help!

You need to adjust your input and output routings in Traktor.

Open traktor, go to preferences, at the top you should see Audio Setup, Output Routing and Input Routing.

Seeing as though you have an external source, you will need to go to output routing and in the 'Mixing Mode' section at the top, select external, and set the left and right speakers for each deck you are using, it might be 1, 2 or A, B or left and right etc etc

In the Audio Setup section, make sure the sound card is selected as the one you want....

Hope that helps.
