Djm-600 for DVS
Posted on: 08.07.2013 by Myrta Neweii
Has anyone used a Djm-600 with a traktor DVS system? I have a chance to buy one for 500 bucks and I'm wondering if I'll have any regrets, as I've been looking at the Z2 for a while now. I'll probably add an A6 for my scratch. Any issues with xfader/EQ/effects/general sound quality? I'm used to gear slightly newer than old generation Pio.

Thank you!

I'd go for the Z2.

(As a new dj of only 2 years experience) I understand that the 600 was the standard back "in the day" as much is the 900 is now. I definitely respect that. I believe I've always been drawn to the Pio effect processors and build quality. But it looks like if I want to grow my skills more, its off to the retirement home with this old bastard! Heres to the new.

I have, but I believe for the price of a 750 (about $1000) I would opt for a DB2 instead. Not sure if im willing to hover into that price bracket without scratch certification.

Considered a DJM 750 or 850 off ebay?

DJM600 is fine for DVS, but tbh you are better off getting a newer mixer for the same price mate.
