speeding up pitch slider movement in Traktor
speeding up pitch slider movement in Traktor Posted on: 25.05.2013 by Mariano Godina Hi,I have my pitch sliders set to +/- 6% as it gives finer control - but the problem i'm having is it takes ages to get from say 121bpm to 125bpm - i have to keep my finger held down on the button for ages! Is there a way i can speed this up? I realise if you set the +/- % to 100% then it speeds up a lot more BUT you don't get a tight control over the bpms then. any help or advice on this would be great, Thanks | |

Just incase its the last and only option guys - how do i set it up so that i can use shift In/Out to do quick speed up or down adjustments? thanks for the help everyone. button-hold value 1 Fine = modifier condition 0 Fast = modifier condition 1 Let me know if you follow, I can give more detail... |

Mariano Godina 13.07.2013 | I just can't work out how to do this..... Currently i use the In/Out buttons to adjust the tempo adjust slider - I have it set to 6% so its adjustment is in fine increments - but if i want to go from say 120-124bpm then i have to keep my finger on the button for ages as it takes so long to get there..... So I would like to add the following to my X1 - Shift + In/Out = fast adjustment of the Tempo adjust Any walk through guide or help would really be appreciated, Thanks |

Mariano Godina 14.06.2013 | Bump,,,,,,,just trying to sort this 'shift +in/out' button out so i can have fine increments via hold ing shift......any help on how to map this? Currently 'shift + in/out' is mapped to 'manual loop in/out' Thanks |

Mariano Godina 26.05.2013 | ah ok, thanks guys, i'll check that out! |
Kellie Myrum 26.05.2013 | Yep, default or course will do the job. But as I find this button option resolutions limiting I prefer changing type to encoder as mention. From there you can set exact amount of movement that you need, check it out |
Latoria Kavulich 26.05.2013 | ya, i use "Min" for all my x1 commands. |
Nedra Fresneda 25.05.2013 | If you are changing the resolution you might want it shifted, otherwise you will lose fine control. |
Latoria Kavulich 25.05.2013 | under button options>resolution, change the value to default or course. |
Kellie Myrum 25.05.2013 | Way. Use tempo adjust command, set as encoder-relative, adjust sensitivity, boom. |
Mariano Godina 25.05.2013 | unfortunately thats just not possible for my setup. Hmmmmm, there must be a way..... |
Emelina Chillson 25.05.2013 | Ya should map it to one of the 4 encoders on the x1. for example shift+encoder to adjust pitch up or down. Then you can use the buttons for fine adjustment. |
Mariano Godina 25.05.2013 | i have assigned it to a button on my X1......But in the controller mappings section of the prefs, i can't see anything to adjust the speed when you press the button. |
Emelina Chillson 25.05.2013 | why not assign it to a knob, encoder, fader, or jog wheel? |
