Issues with connecting to Mixlr - Can anyone help?
Posted on: 03.07.2013 by Jarrod Grindel
Hello All,

I'm running the latest version of the Mixlr app. I'm having issues with connecting to Mixlr's server.

I have set Mixlr as an exception in my Kaspersky Firewall, I have also set it up as an expection in the Windows7 Firewall.

As soon as the application trys to connect to Mixlr I immediatley get kicked off. I get the Windows7 error bubble pop up.

It's most frustrating, and no matter what I do I just can't seem to connect to Mixlr.

I use SKY unlimited broadband. I have checked my bandwith and have well over 800Mpbs so that's not the issue.

Can anyone help me out there??? I have attached an image to this post showing a screen shot of the expection changes I have made in Kaspersky and the error message I'm getting from Windows7.

Try disabling kaspersky. If that solves the issue, uninstall it and get avg.
If it doesn't, try flushing your dns cache by typing in the run box ipconfig /flushdns
