Vikki Jeannoel 21.07.2013 | I had the Krk rokit 6s then switched for the hs50ms. Big upgrade for producing . Much flatter. I have since upgraded to a set of genelec 8040s (even bigger upgrade). If you are djing on them the krks will be fine. If you are producing you want a nice flat set of monitors. |
Gaynell Rydberg 21.07.2013 | Neither one really provides a whole lot of bass. It's just bass heavy relative to the Yamahas. Again, test em out. The KRKs are real muddy compared to the HS50Ms IMO. You might not find the same. |
Keneth Kieltyka 21.07.2013 | Thanks, definitely looking for bass heavy for good kicks and such. thought I should mention as well that my budget is $300 |
Gaynell Rydberg 21.07.2013 | Head to your local GC and test yourself. KRK is bass heavy. Yamaha is more flat. |
