Yeah, I see. There's a site called Whosample.com that IDs famous samples used in tracks.

Yep. It's not as easy as just getting an ID off of drums, loops, etc from peoples tracks. Tho if it IS a heavily or famously used sample, like a break, a synth, etc, and its on the classics side, thats when you can most likely get a shot at ID'ing parts of a track.

Like

'Kool & The Gang - Summer Madness' (That synth) = sampled in 'Will Smith - Summertime'. 'Ice Cube - You Know How We Do'. + many more.

'Soul Searchers - Ashley's Roachclip'. [ - Erik B & Rakim - Paid In Full, and many others!

You get the drift.

I agree... As I just posted in the other community , I'm just gonna' have to keep on practicing at making drums...

Yeah, I know about loopmasters.com, I've gotten some great packs from it. Yes, I always get that same desire when I hear awesome drum loops in a track. I guess it just takes time to create an awesome drum loop...

If you actually produced instead of looking for loops you would understand that a drum loop doesn't actually work well in production because you have to seperately eq and sidechain your kick and snare. and make sure all your drums are fighting frequencies or anything.

If all these producers were using drum loops the drums wouldn't be discernible in the song LOL.

I get what your saying, but they just sound very basic TBH. There's nothing significant about those two tracks' drums, just sound like every most of that style of house' sound lol. I always hear a drum hit/sample in a track and believe woah, i want that!

Try Loopmasters, SamplePhonics, Waveform Recordings, theres a couple. Loopmasters will most definitely have a sample pack with hits like that or even a loop very similar, but tis hard to tell whether the producers used a loop or made it from scratch. Download some samples and have a play, you will probaly end up making something that you like even better.

there in lies the problem. you are assuming they are using a drum pack. As if they download all the same samples.
That MIGHT be so but you have to understand something about production

Im sure you have a drum kick sample in your archive
and you place it into a track to use as the KICK to a song. What about layering? What about tone? What about filtering?
This is what happens in production and it could very well be all on a SINGLE drum hit, then repeated to a 4 count.

ill bet you already have the correct samples to use, that make this drum track.

Yeah, the full sound would be epic! But what I'm wondering is where do these producers get these drum packs, because I've heard lots of artist use the same drum loops in their tracks.

so want the full sound of the drums?
or do you want like the full length wit the break down where the drums fade out and its hats, cymbals and a shaker?

Because its actually TWO drum hits layerd
a single hat on a short attack
another hat with some resonance and decay which later pitches downward
and a cymbal filtered

Hey!

So I stumbled upon this track by Belocca and the drum loop that it uses are extremely familiar. I've heard those same drum loops being used by The Cube Guys a lot, as well as some other artist. I have been looking for these drum loops for a while now, but I've had no luck finding them unfortunately.

If someone could point me into the right direction on where I could find those drums, that'd be awesome!

Thanks!

They aren't all the same lmao. Its about taking a good kick that you like, beefing it up. Getting a snare you like. beefing that up, decay, reverb, get some hats that u like that fit with the kick and snare. delay and reverb these aswell and make sure all 3 are eq'ed properly and you can have a drum line that sounds like that lmao.

The kicks may be 808s with short decay. The both have that low end with a snappy high/mid. The hats on both tracks are definitely layered. In the Filthy Rich track I definitely hear a shorter hat layered with the longer more natural sounding hat. There's also a 3rd layer with rides that comes in.

First one is the most basic house drum pattern known to man. K= kick - = Hats and S = snare

K - S - K - S - K - S - K - S - Also known as the boots and cats(take out the vowels).. if you were to beat box it out.

House is a 4floor style beat. the kick is always gonna be 1 2 3 4 beat of a 4 bar.

Because I really like the way it sounds... And I actually take that back, I've only heard TWO songs with the same drum loop., I'm sure there's more out there somewhere but so far, I've only heard two.

They are pretty different if anything.

Google how to program a house beat. Tons of tuts out there

TBH dude, they sound slightly similar, but I don't believe that they're the same loop, you can tell the Filthy Rich track's drums are a little sharper and the hats definitely have a longer release on them

I'm looking for the sample pack that includes that drum loop. It's clearly a sample from a certain pack since the same drum loop has been used in several songs.

Pretty confused, what exactly are you looking for?

There isnt a drum break in either of those tracks, just the usual house 4x4 pattern... Are you after the kick drum or? There is literally no way to tell any of those drums used....
