How Can I Get Music For My Mix To Put On YouTube? Posted on: 20.07.2013 by Hermila Hejl How Can I Get Music For My Mix To Put On YouTube? Most DJ's on YouTube use good songs, mostly copyrighted songs, but how can I use those songs, if I used them I guess it would be copyright and my channel would be taken down. Can anyone help me with all of this please? Thanks. | |

I thought I'd have ago at uploading it as soundcloud was being shady when I uploaded my mix. Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/ashcarr Twitter: https://twitter.com/ash_carr_ |
Yong Aptekar 21.07.2013 | Try and stay away from top 40 as well. Lmfao, skrillex, etc. They might keep it up, they might take it down. Try to do long mixes as well, so that you aren't playing 90% of the tracks on their own. |
Contessa Atanasoff 21.07.2013 | As long as you give credit to the artists, and make it clear that you are not claiming ownership to any of the music in the mix (unless you indeed created it), there usually isn't a problem |
Latoria Kavulich 20.07.2013 | Even if the Content ID system identifies some of the tracks that are used, your mix will not be removed unless there is a claim by the copyright owners. Don't worry about it. |
Gaynell Rydberg 20.07.2013 | Just upload them. |
