QUestion regarding beat grids and cue points in Traktor Pro 2
Posted on: 19.08.2013 by Brittny Reutov
Would I be able to set cue points in a track along with setting the beat grid up, and then load that track into someone else's laptop with the same cue points and beat grid stored as it is on my laptop. We are both using the same software, same copy of the track just different laptops. Is this possible ?

You might need to enable the BPM/Analysis lock on tracks before copying them over to the other laptop.

That info is stored in the id3 tag for Mp3's, so yep. You will still need to reanalyse the tracks for the transients

Wrong community dude...probably needs to go in General Discussion.

But I believe Traktor will save the beatgrid and cue points to the file if the file allows for metadata storage (mp3, aiff do I believe, but I don't believe wav?) and you lock the grid after you've set everything up.

Someone else will have to confirm for sure.
