MIDI brain/PCB help!!!!

im currently designing an awesome MIDI controller. ive already designed the case, components, dimensions etc etc.
the only thing i have left to do is design the brain/PCB. i have NO idea how to design one or what parts im going to need, buy, include etc etc... in other words im a noob at PCBs and brains. so if anyone could tell me what parts i need, what features i must include for it to work, any tips, websites,blogs or community s that could help me i would be very grateful. (please dont say any brains i could buy its not really what i need, this must be my complete design)
