Backpack for a DJM 900
Backpack for a DJM 900 Posted on: 16.01.2013 by Alphonso Deitchman Ideally I would get the Controllerist Backpack from DJTT as it's already been proven to hold the 900 but it's been out of stock for a while...Anyone have any recommendations for this oddly sized 13" mixer? | |

Audrey Pinda 08.09.2013 | I'd take a look at UDG's bags. I use one for carrying all my stuff around, and I'm pretty sure the mixer would fit into the big pouch on the front large pocket. I don't have to carry anything that large around, I usually keep my crane stand, dicers, and various cables in that pocket but I'm pretty sure the mixer would fit in there well. I don't have a similar mixer to test fit in there size wise. I have the UDG Digi bag and swear by it. http://turntablelab.com/products/udg...FXRp7AodYVoA3g |

Ginny Fergson 08.09.2013 | Try Magma bags, I have one of the backsacks for my Denon controller. Very impressed with the quality, http://magma-bags.com/gear-guide/DJM-900-Nexus-e.html |
Alphonso Deitchman 08.09.2013 | I got the Gator CDJ/mixer bag which fits nicely http://www.gatorcases.com/p/223135-1513/g-club-cdmx-12 |
Myron Dudkiewicz 08.09.2013 | I'm looking for one too, what did you end up getting?? |
Alphonso Deitchman 16.01.2013 | "the depth of 4.5″ of the Pioneer dj mixer means that it will not fit into the backpacks" I guess that rules out the Namba. The dimensions of the 900 are 13.0 x 16.1x 4.2 (in) / 331 x 108 x 409 (mm) so it's a little big for vinyl bags. Thanks for the suggestions though! Backpack is for portability as I don't have access to a car, and would like to be able to carry it on foot/bicycle at times. |
Venetta Cawyer 16.01.2013 | A backpack? Why not just a decent flightcase? Way safer than a bag.. |
Irwin Ney 16.01.2013 | You can try to compare the dimensions with those controllers that are in the Big Namba Studio Backpack Fitting guide: http://nambagear.com/2008/07/02/whic...udio-backpack/ http://nambagear.com/big-namba-studio-backpack/ Also this thread has some other recommendations: http://community .djranking s.com/showthread.php?t=65918 |
