This might result in some good info,(No mac vs pc flame wars please). What in the users opinions would be a fairly solid traktor laptop, we are talking ssd ,7200 rpm drive ,ram 8gb or 16 gb, brand and model etc etc.Include cost as a factor say under 1000 dollars or 1000 uk pound,i know theres a difference in currencies, just trying to get a broader number of answers, as is beneficial to all.

"keeps all the information gathered in a single place as well" fair point.

Don't buy a new laptop unless it has a Haswell processor.

Can see this question getting asked a lot for sure ,just started thread to see what responses there were out there, with the aim of helping others too.
Been answered a million times already and honestly will inevitably end up in a pissing match / flame war over reqirements OS / Hard disk types / IO etc ....

Why not just read/add to the previous existing threads and they will be bumped up already rather than creating a new one ? .. And it keeps all the information gathered in a single place as well.

Lol 7200 rpm good call.Ive Seen a lot of laptops nowadays with two drives, one ssd usually small maybe 20 -30 gb for os and traktor(sometimes in optical drive space)and a secondary 7200 rpm drive for instance 500 - 1000gb. So said i would include it. Can see this question getting asked a lot for sure ,just started thread to see what responses there were out there, with the aim of helping others too.
Thanks for reply

#1 Choice for me: 13' Macbook Pro Retina (They also Might be updated with latest Processors and graphics in a few hours BTW).

#2 Lenovo's Thinkpad's are solid pieces of kit and in the windows world would be my top choice.

7200 rpm drive
Old School .... SSD is where its at these days

BTW this question gets asked every few weeks I'd recommend search for "what laptop"
