Denon Mixer X1600 Vs Pioneer DJM-850 which one has better or more attractive FX Posted on: 14.09.2013 by Shanel Batch I would like to hear the opinion that there is out there in the DJ world about which one of this two mixer has the prefer choice of FX. Reason being that I'm looking for a Hybrid mixer so I can use with traktor, by Hybrid I mean I can use it with/without the traktor software but it most have it own Fx. not like the traktor z2 which is very limited by itself. To be honest I believe the Denon offer one of the more crutial thing that I'm looking for and that is the capability to control traktor FX when use in midi mode. If I go with the DJM-850 I would have to get some thing like the X1 to make my work flow as I would like. So what is you opinion.

Merlyn Birchfield 16.09.2013	I love my DN-X1600 (and the price I paid for it), but as a Traktor user, the rare times I mess with FX are in software. If I were making the decision based solely on FX, the 850 wins by a mile.
Vernie Kuam 15.09.2013	As a happy owner of an 850, I can say that it is quite nice. The sound card works perfectly, and I use the dedicated filter every time I am on the decks.

Alphonso Deitchman 14.09.2013	Some people have had trouble with the DN-X1600 sound card so that's something you might want to consider.
