NEW KRK Rokit 8, 6, and 5 G3 Posted on: 16.09.2013 by Annalisa Shogren Evening all,Saw these advertised by Absolute Music when they were first announced. Was believeing I'd see a post on here regarding them pretty soon after, but alas I can't find one... So I thought I'd open up a thread for discussion. Find out more about them here. And a quick video review (although a lot of KRK arse kissing) here... Has anyone already purchased the new generation of the beloved Rokits? If so, what are your opinions? Worth the upgrade, or just a lot of PR hype that they actually sound any better? I'm glad they've now included a bass EQ on the rear of the monitor, and I'm seriously considering selling my current G2's and upgrading to a pair of these once I get a decent listen myself. | |

| Ressie Losiewicz 17.09.2013 | I'm lucky enough to work for a popular DJ specialist and I can say that the G3's are fantastic. The sound is flatter but in terms of clarity and replicating a 'true' sound of what you listening too or producing, you'll know that that is not a bad thing at all. I'm not going to name any other speaker manufacturers here but I've listened to the KRK G3's alongside other popular monitors for the past few weeks and they beat the competition in terms of loudness, quality, clarity and construction. I hope this is helpful. |

| Cori Ozanich 16.09.2013 | I'm hoping the frequency response of the G3 is a bit flatter than the G2. If it is, I'll definitely pick the 5 or 6 up. I did cringe at the video though. |
