VFX-1 Controller - does anyone here use it?
VFX-1 Controller - does anyone here use it? Posted on: 16.09.2013 by Vernie Kuam I have one that I got a while back when I bought at VCI-300. However, ever since getting an X1, I haven't used it at all. Serato DJ, SSL, and Traktor all allow mapping of effects, and the number of controls on the X1 is just so much more. Also, it is a strange height and shape, and I'm not really sure where to fit it in amongst the mixer, tts, computer, and x1.How do you use it in your workflow? What programs are you using? To me, it is just a awkward piece of gear that I'm not sure how to incorporate. | |

Vallie Pac 19.09.2013 | I use it with my NS7, V7's, and VCI-300. |
Ramonita Atwell 19.09.2013 | There is a Scratch Live layover for it, no idea if it is still available or not. |
Julissa Serrone 16.09.2013 | I only use it with my VCI-300 because the X1 (although has more buttons and knobs) looks wierd next to it. They X1 is a much better fit, especially now that Serato is going to just one software Serato DJ. |
Lannie Kutay 16.09.2013 | its kinda made for outdated software. Biggest mistake they made was putting names of EFX on there, now if they add new EFX it just becomes visually weird to choose them. |
