The worst thing to happen
The worst thing to happen Posted on: 21.09.2013 by Hellen Mindrup So last evening
during my gig, which is about 4 hours long, my Xone 22's entire right hand side of the mixer died... I couldn't get anything to play at all, meters were completely dead. I couldn't get sound in my headphones from the right channel either. Obviously we tried re wiring everything, because my buddy brought his DJM 850 right by and everything worked flawlessly on that. I read up somewhere that cranking the booth volume might do that, and I usually do while at the same time keeping my volumes on the backs of the monitor speakers low. I'm going to re try everything here in a bit, maybe even hit it with some compressed air. Anyone of you with a 22 ever experience this? Hopefully someone can hit me with a few tips and tricks. | |

Dione Haimes 24.09.2013 | I remember covering my mates gig cos he was playing over in ireland, he warned me the house mixer was fucked, and i had to unplug it and plug my own in, and the place was wired really strange, the booth monitor was controlled from the bar (i ended up just unplugging it), but when we were trying to get the music started there was a 1/2 second delay between the sub and the speakers, couldnt work out for the life of me why, reset all the amps, turned all the speakers on and off, turns out my mate was having a shot mixing on the headphones and left a 1/2 bar delay effect on |

Lakeesha Storman 23.09.2013 | Man, that sucks, but at least you can blame it on women. Glad you figured it out, and yeah, I've found honesty to be the best solution as well. So, kudos on that. |

Sonja Roybal 23.09.2013 | That's hilarious. Sometimes the solution is the most obvious. It's like walking around for 5 minutes looking for something only to discover its in your hand or your pocket. |

Hellen Mindrup 23.09.2013 | I'm not going to lie to anyone here.... I was drunk and had the phono/line set to phono... I got home in the morning and didn't look at it, I just made this post lol. Fail/10 e/ To all newbies.. This is why you stay sober. |
Lannie Kutay 22.09.2013 | Now that I believe of it, definitely take it apart and give it a good cleaning. Sometimes dust or moisture can short out a fader. |
Ninfa Mazariegos 22.09.2013 | Does it smell burnt? If you don't have a warranty, take it apart and look for anything unusual like burnt traces, resistors or leaking capacitors. |

Brunilda Kora 23.09.2013 | This kind of thing NEVER happens with Reloop gear... ...just ask Mike. |
Margie Pavell 23.09.2013 | what happened? |
Margie Pavell 21.09.2013 | I take it that you are playing on the line inputs. Open the mixer and change the phono to line on right side and see if you get sound that way. page 15 in the user guide under documents. http://www.allen-heath.com/uk/Produc...ne22&SubCatId= |
