Wiring Help

Hello,
I just got a KRK Rokit 5 and I am having some issues when it comes to wiring it up. I mostly use it with my computer but on occasion use my Traktor Kontrol S2 on it. I started first with a simple 1/4" to 3.5mm cord (Hosa Mono Interconnect 3.5mm TRS to 1/4" TS)there was often a bit of distortion (fuzziness) when I listened at louder volumes. Now it set myself up with a 1/4" to two RCAs (LiveWire TRS-202) then those into a Y cable into 3.5mm (LiveWire YRA-154) and I can only hook one half the RCAs together or I lose all bass (lows). I'm pretty confused to say the least. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

THANKS!

This is because you are connecting a balanced output into an unbalanced input. Each TRS socket on the rear of the S2 is a mono output for a single speaker. Use standard 1/4" TRS leads to connect each speaker to the S2.

plug S2 into computer via usb, set S2 as soundcard for all sounds, plug KRKs into S2 via the RCA or 1/4in,

problem fixed
