Traktor Scratch Demo - Can't access Absolute mode in Soft Sync - ok in prod version?

I'm considering upgrading to TSP 2 and have been playing around with the demo. Using the latest demo version I'm running into an issue where I can never get to absolute mode using Soft Sync. I want to make sure this issue isn't in the production version before I purchase the upgrade.

Specifically-

- Pressing the Absolute mode button does nothing, the Relative mode button stays lit.
- In Timecode Options I have "use absolute mode when loading track" and "use absolute mode at the beginning of a track" both checked. However, the latter doesn't work. If I needle drop at the beginning of the timecode it still stays in relative.

Can someone check their production version and let me know if these issues exist?
