Marvis Degaetano 18.01.2012 | whenever you enter the license be it tractor pro or tractor scratch you will have one version of either.... I'm running into the same thing..... what i would do if i were you is to keep tractor scratch pro....for the time code they have the mk2 time code.... i got the audio 6 they shipped me free mk2 controls cd's and vinyls |
Yee Bedilion 24.09.2011 | You can go on the site and download the timecode and burn it to a disc. I believe they actually recommend it, or at least they used to before tsp2. I dont know if they improved the timecode but cueing with the cdj800mkii using timecode blows. Well my experiences led me to believe that maybe someone else had more sucess then i did. |
Kathaleen Rannebarger 23.09.2011 | I have done that and timecode works in tsd2, but tp2 is gone |
Ralph Alderette 23.09.2011 | you plug in a Traktor soundcard. |
Kathaleen Rannebarger 23.09.2011 | well i just installed traktor duo 2 and my traktor pro 2 disapeard!? :S |

Janell Selser 21.09.2011 | Woah, woah, slow your roll my friend. Let me get this clear. You have and S4 that comes with TP2 but you bought TP2. You have CDJ's and you want to use those with Scratch Pro 2 independantly from the S4 with a standalone mixer? Correct? |
Kathaleen Rannebarger 22.09.2011 | Another thing, how do you set up the mixer with this setup? I cant seem to get it lol, cheers! |
Kathaleen Rannebarger 21.09.2011 | Can you link it to me? Can't seem to find it? Where do i register my S4? I didn't get the register email so i bought TP2 separately. |

If you get different CDJs that output MIDI/HID data you can use any of these variants of software - I know the CDJ 850 is capable of doing this. To use the Scratch functionality you need a Native Instrument soundcard (either the Audio 4/6/8/20 deending on the channels you want to use - the packages come with the appropriate card) |
Kathaleen Rannebarger 21.09.2011 | What about traktor duo? what is the difference with scratch & duo? What soundcards are qualified for this? Thanks for the quick anwser! |
Spencer Kilcoyne 21.09.2011 | Not sure this is possible with Traktor Pro 2 - I don't believe that the CDJ800Mk2 gives out MIDI/HID data for Traktor to use ... I believe you need Traktor Scratch Pro 2, and you can use the soundcard/control CDs to do what you want. |
