I bought the S4 used and i didnt get a traktor cd with it so i bought t
TP2. I like the CDJ's but i love traktor aswell so now i start to use timecode with it. So i dont need to bring the S4 in the club how do i set up standard clubmixer to traktor to work with timecode?

Damn i love DJTT!
Since you have the S4, you should be able to just buy the S4 scratch upgrade. Then all you'll need to use is TSP2 no matter what you use. Controller or cd's/vinyl.

You can't upgrade from TP2 to TSP2.

This was the same set up I've used for a while (2CDJ800mkii's and DJM800). Just remember, you lose the loop feature on your CDJs, it will never be accurate. All your loops would have to be done via MIDI, which can be a piss off.

whenever you enter the license be it tractor pro or tractor scratch you will have one version of either.... I'm running into the same thing..... what i would do if i were you is to keep tractor scratch pro....for the time code they have the mk2 time code.... i got the audio 6 they shipped me free mk2 controls cd's and vinyls

You can go on the site and download the timecode and burn it to a disc.

I believe they actually recommend it, or at least they used to before tsp2.

I dont know if they improved the timecode but cueing with the cdj800mkii using timecode blows. Well my experiences led me to believe that maybe someone else had more sucess then i did.

I have done that and timecode works in tsd2, but tp2 is gone

Ok,

Traktor Pro supports up to 4 decks, controlled by a Midi compliant device
Traktor Scratch Pro supports up to 4 decks using time-code vinyl/cds
Traktor Duo supports 2 decks controlled by a Midi compliant device
Traktor Scratch Duo supports 2 decks using time-code vinyl/cds

You want either of the Scratch variants to use the CDJs you've got. If you get different CDJs that output MIDI/HID data you can use any of these variants of software - I know the CDJ 850 is capable of doing this.

To use the Scratch functionality you need a Native Instrument soundcard (either the Audio 4/6/8/20 deending on the channels you want to use - the packages come with the appropriate card)

Not sure this is possible with Traktor Pro 2 - I don't believe that the CDJ800Mk2 gives out MIDI/HID data for Traktor to use ...

I believe you need Traktor Scratch Pro 2, and you can use the soundcard/control CDs to do what you want.
