Did you upgrade? Better for scratching or just worse for your wallet?

I got my MKII vinyls about a week or so ago and I must say they are a great improvement. Basically everything that Karlos said... And what Cybertrash said... They really just "feel" better to me. Scratch response is definitely a lot better too.

on a scale from one to ten how much quieter are the mk2 versions compared to the mk1s

Waiting for my white MKII pair ...they said they should be shipping in the next week or so. Traktor butter rugs also end route!

Better for scratching due to improved decoding of the position of the timecode. The error compensation has been improved.

Feels a bit less "grainy" under your fingers, more like regular vinyl

Quieter 'weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" sound.

The difference is slight but any improvement is good. Are they worth the money? Yeah id say so. Your gonna need new timecode at some point. Buy em now or buy em when you need em.
