S4 sample/track loading

S4 sample/track loading
Posted on: 11.10.2010 by WrthKDs .
Hey all,

I did watch the movies how samples are pulled from tracks, what I just thought of: is it possible to "link" these, as in, load track in deck A and all samples that are linked to it in the deck C sample player? (Same for deck B and deck D sample player)

Anyone that had a chance to play with the S4 give that a try? Or is it just wishful believeing

Any info is greatly appreciated

Bloody good idea! I was believeing about work flow with quick sample loading with the S4, I guess with prepped performances, special playlists can be made for intuitive quick loading. The less screen gazing the better, I'm one of those dj's who like's the laptop out of view.

I'll put one in when I had some time to mess with the S4 next month Time is going soooo slow....
Probably wouldn't be too hard to implement with all those custom tags already flying around and every track (hopefully samples then also) having a unique number...
Linked tracks sound also pretty nice, would free up my comment/comment2 a bit

Nope. Decks A & B are independent from Sample slots.
Sample Slots are just Decks C&D in another form but I believe its a really really cool idea.

A bit like Duerrs idea of linked tracks.

Feature Suggestion ..?
