Key Command to Highlight/Select Tracks
Posted on: 12.11.2010 by Julissa Serrone
Anyone know off hand what mapping name is for highlighting numerous selected tracks as in - Shift + Arrow works in a Itunes or other spreadsheets. I've tried a few ways and can't quite get it.

Thanks

This should be part of the default!

5) Click last track while holding shift
6) All tracks between first and last click should now be highlighted

This doesn't get you started in the right direction? I may not be understanding your question correctly.

Browser>List>List Select Extend Up/Down

I have the interaction mode for arrow down set to inc and up set to dec.

After further testing that doesn't appear work quite right, but it's close. I'll keep playing with it.

Ok...I know I'm not crazy. I used to have a TSI that would do this and then I started adding shit and it fvcked it all up.

ALL I want to do is select (highlight) multiple tracks with computer keys (Shift + down/up). Same as in Itunes. I don't want to move them. Just highlight, then right click and select analyze or detect BPM, etc.

For example. I auto analyze 200 songs and leave my BPM range 60 - 190 and I have now 40 songs with BPM 64. I want to sort, highlight those tracks and then detect BPM (within the 120-130 range this time).

Yooouuuu guuys know how to do this.

Doesnt work and has been often requested.
I love a function to move tracks up and down the browser. This was a feature in T2.6

I see a Request coming on...
