Kecia Wnukowski 01.12.2010 | yes and no: - not with the embedded mapping as it can't be really changed, only twisted. For more info go to the Traktor Bible's website or here http://www.djranking s.com/community /showthread.php?t=20764 - not really with a custom user mapping. Even if it gives you more freedom, some controls can't do some functions. By example with the DJTT's mapping for the VCI100 you can control and engage FX with faders. However with a S4 custom user mapping you cant' assign 'FX on' functions to a fader or to a knob like it is a button. The software doesn't accept it. - yes as it is a also a midi controller so by passing into midi mode (and loosing the fast communication protocol), you can do almost whatever you want (almost as you won't be able to recreate the complexity of the embedded mapping and won't be able to map the loop length screen). |
