Has anyone mapped S4 Super Knobs?
Has anyone mapped S4 Super Knobs? Posted on: 05.01.2011 by Karolis Petrauskas Hey guys, have any of you mapped the gain or any other knobs to be super knobs? If so please share how you did it. I believe the gain knobs would be great for channel specific super knobs. @ Armyofme: did you get an S4 yet? | |

Karolis Petrauskas 05.01.2011 | Nice...What kind of effect combos do you use? |
Leeanna Ayla 05.01.2011 | Yes you can map super knobs on the X1. I have a couple on mine. |
Karolis Petrauskas 05.01.2011 | Thanks Yul. Can I map my X1 for superknob use on the S4 software? Would this work in native mode. |
Kecia Wnukowski 05.01.2011 | apart if you're using a midi mapping, knobs won't accept functions like a button - it is not possible, the editor telling you that - so you can't for example activate an effect just by using a knob, same for activating or not one or the other of the fx buttons' parameter. Meaning you have to create a pre-load set of Fx parameters, engage the Fx(s) by any other mean and then use eventually your limited super knob (where it can be set to play on D/W and the fx's parameter). Alternatively you can however turn the s4 to midi mode and then create and map any fancy thingie you would like within the known limitation of TP considering midi mapping. |
