Question about midikeyboard through s4 Posted on: 11.01.2011 by Sanjuanita Mcmonigle Hey guys!As the title says; is it possible to use a midi-keyboard through the s4 in, for example, cubase and at the same time run Traktor? To clarify: what I want to know is if I can use the soundcard of the s4 two programs at once. And using the midi-in for my midikeyboard. Thanks in advance! | |

Oswaldo Appeldorn 12.01.2011 | Well i dunno if it will help you, but i already use the midi mode with another program when i'm playing with traktor ^^ |
Sanjuanita Mcmonigle 12.01.2011 | I see! Yeah ofcourse, I didnt believe of it like that. I guess It's better to run the keys through usb instead and then see if both programs work at once. Thanks for the answer! |
Charline Dye 11.01.2011 | Not sure you can do what you are asking. I know the sound card can be used for that, plenty of others have ran Ableton and Traktor together, but it might cause problems with the other program running along side Traktor. If you don't have a fast computer. I say that because of the problems people are having just running the S4. Midi in could be used to recieve the midi clock from another device/program to sync the S4 with it. |
Sanjuanita Mcmonigle 11.01.2011 | I mean, what else would you use the midi-in for? Im sorry if Im sounding like a total noob. |
