Found this on YT. Good idea for cheap protection for your S4 if you are using a soft bag.

Right now I just protect it and throw it in my carry on.
Yeah plexi would look much cleaner and bring the weight down a bunch. Where are you in Texas?

Plastic looks really thin though is it solid enough to protect it from bumps or just dust?
If I was honest, I would have to admin that this might be only partially resistant to heavy or sharper dust. I do have a large canopy suspended above and two industrial fans located on either side as backup. It's highly portable providing you have a large truck and a couple of friends.

You can use a circular saw to cut plexi. Might want a fine toothed blade though as a course one might cause it to chip.

Well thanks for posting it!!!

I'm out in "West Texas" but should be in Dallas soon.

The wood is like a paneling. It weighs almost nothing. I had it laying around the house and needed something quick. The plexi would be so sweet. What do you cut plexi with though?

I did see they had a decksaver now too though...

You clearly all missed my custom cut-out-of-a-bedding-set-package "BedRaver Shield" I created and posted last week. I believe you will all find it's light on the pocket and heavy on the awesome.
