Mandy Lupone 30.04.2011 | I have tried Tuxera NTFS now, and done a 4 1/2 Hour gig with no problems, been able to edit my files on the ext hd:=) All in all so far a good app! |
robin loo 30.04.2011 | or you google for macfuse and ntfs-3g |
Tatum Ansaldo 30.04.2011 | ideally you'd copy them to another drive then reformat it. |
Mandy Lupone 30.04.2011 | Here is a another question, Do i need to convert my ext disk to another format then NTFS? Since i cant write to it, or is there a work around for it? Got like 350 gb of music on it i dont want to loose, but want to analyse the tracks (most of them) :P |
Mandy Lupone 28.04.2011 | Just done with my first gig now (4:30 am local time in Norway). And i tell you guys who doubt buying a MBP for music, dont!:P everything is SO smooth! im running a latency at 128 and had absolutly no crackles or dropouts Had time maschine, bt and AirPort off. My setup @ the club http://www.djranking s.com/community /att...1&d=1304044499 |

Mandy Lupone 28.04.2011 | to bad, well i just have to get used to the trackpad, believe im getting there thx anyways |
Tatum Ansaldo 28.04.2011 | Unfortunately not. That mouse appears to use a proprietary wireless format rather than standard bluetooth, so you have to use the dongle. You can always use a powered USB hub to get around the limited number of ports. |

Leeanna Ayla 27.04.2011 | I stream my show over wifi, using a bluetooth keyboard and mouse to chat in multiple windows while I'm playing. I've never had a problem, and my MBP is not anywhere near current top of the line. I believe the problem comes from where there's nothing for bluetooth or wifi to connect to as would often be the case when you're playing out. |
Tatum Ansaldo 27.04.2011 | Just make sure your latency's ok, but I doubt you'll have any issues. You know what they say, they just work. tbh i've never bothered turning off my wifi, never had a problem with it. |
Leeanna Ayla 27.04.2011 | Not really, maybe make sure time machine is turned off. |
