Well spotted, there is one of the Midi 5pin ports spoken for, which would carry the clock to or from external gear.
Be a shame if was using fx pedals too. With the right tweaking it wouldn't be impossible to make those sounds with Traktor.

I reckon he's just using Traktor, the tools are there to do the job. It would be interesting to see if Dub Fx uses the S4 for gig's at all. Generally he uses a large multi fx pedal alongside a Boss RC-50 pedal for sampling.

cables noted, he might actually be using some sort of pedal/effects pre processing device, but the main point is the overdubbing and the post application of traktor effects on an incoming channel, which makes dope possibilities with or without the gadgets...

and if he had his extra stuff after all this was an event wasn't it ?

I agree, even if he does use other gear in his performances, this is all traktor and you can even make them crazier no problem, no pedals no nothing.... you can have 3,4,6 effects on the channel what more do you need! well just try it :P

I had fun yesterday with this, no trickery just s4 tp2 and a new mic I got

All you have to do is route the fx bank to your aux input deck. Been messing around with it all day. Transpose stretch sounds pretty sweet for vocal samples, turn it real low and you sound like a demon. Even got beatmasher going, would be awesome for dj name drop stutters.
