Songs Will Only Play When Cued ...
Posted on: 22.05.2011 by Corine Mccravy
Been using the S4 for a month and half now, this is the first time I've encountered this issue yet. The S4 will play the track if the song is cued, even when the slider for the volume is turned up. I've already gone through setup wizard but the problem still persists.

Now the sliders work, however when I press "Cue" you can't hear anything unless you turn the volume up.

You know when you have a song CUED, and the volume turned DOWN.. you can hear the song that's being played? The issue I'm having is that when the volume is turned down & cued, you cannot hear any music. It's only once you turn the slider up, you can hear what's being cued.

Hopefully that makes more sense.

i dont understand your question,
but ill take a guess that your not very experienced at a dj mixer or djing in general.

basic reply to what seems to be a basic issue. turn up the volumes.
there is more than one volume control on the s4, do you have them or at least the correct ones turned up ?
like the main one in the top centre of the controller ?
and the main one in the software ? (which is separate from the hardware)
and do you have the volumes that control the headphones cue and mix at the front of the s4 turned up ?
also do you have the headphones volume turned up with in the software ?
or do you have an effect on that is causing an issue ?

im just shooting in the dark here. as i said, i dont really understand your question.
if you dont understand my reply.
then (and i hate to say it-i really do) RTFM
