Midi Mapping the Kontrol S4 Jog Wheels

Does anyone know how to midi map the Kontrol S4 Jog Wheels for scratching?

The reason I'm asking is I'm debating doing a full mapping in midi mode so that I can map the faders as well as a few other things in Ableton live as well as having more flexibility in Traktor for super knobs and such.

I've tried the following:

Scratch On (Hold) & Scratch (Encoder)
It works but the pickup is too slow from release to juggle or perform advanced scratches.

Scratch On (Hold) & Jog Scratch + Temp Bend
The jogs/pickup feel much better but the deck will start playing while I'm still holding the jog wheel down.

I've tried changing a few things in the controller editor but I just can't figure it out. I'm really starting to believe that this might be a bug.

The rest of the custom mapping I believe is doable to create a mapping similar to the VCI's while keeping the core S4 functionality.

Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

Thanks,
Chase
