S4 Beatgrid - Loops - & Tools Posted on: 15.06.2011 by Sadie Steager Hi Guys,I love the S4 - It's amazing and I have a few questions to my final setup and use. I've played 2 small gigs with it and it's fine for basic mixing. Questions: 1.) Do you beat grid your Loops that you pull from songs in your deck.?? 2.) How do I get the S4 Software to update the ID tags of my loops or songs that add and change in traktor. 3.) Anyone with experience on midi fighter setup please pm me. I purchased 2 to use with IG mapping and not getting it to work. 4.) I purchased some songs from re mixers and find that the levels are never the same. Either too much bass or too little. Any idea how I can remaster it or something in order to get levels slightly better. I use my EQ's but you never know until you bring in the full volume. 5.) Should I upgrade to Traktor Pro 2 and how much will it cost?? Thanks guys, you are all great and DJTT you are the best. | Sadie Steager 15.06.2011 | I have Traktor Pro S4 with the controller. Nothing more, is that what you refer to. Sorry my mistake I'm referring to Traktor Scratch pro. I thought that was the updated version. I have the cd that came with the S4. That's the one with the different colors for the tracks! My midi Fighters are not working together on traktor. I want to use the one on Deck A and one on deck B with Effects IG mapping. Somehow I'm missing something in the instructions as on the site. I have effects set to 4 FX Units and all 4 in groups. Route midi fighter 1 to deck A and midi fighter 2 to deck B but they won't work together it seems. |
| Tatum Ansaldo 15.06.2011 | You don't have to pay for TP2, it's free with the S4. They should have emailed you a serial number when you registered your controller. Re. the MFs, what's the problem? |
