IMO set the S4 volume to 0DB and if you have to raise the volume levels, raise them from the clubs mixer. |
Candy Vardy 20.06.2011 | Well done guys, good luck in the future! |
Mariann Brabec 19.06.2011 | Ok, so i forgot to record my set, but overall it went very well, and i cant wait to start branching out and doing some more. Everyone stayed dancing, took a few requests which werent exactly in the dubstep field but still found a way to mix them in, gear
held up well, very satisfied with how everything turned out. -SAGE |
Jayna Cristofori 18.06.2011 | The S4 is the ultimate piece. |

Annalisa Shogren 15.06.2011 | Always wondered what to set that at just before you plug-in? 0DB I guess? |
Leeanna Ayla 15.06.2011 | Top center in the global section, says main volume. |
Kathaleen Rannebarger 15.06.2011 | I can't seem to find the software volume? Any ideas? |
Candy Vardy 15.06.2011 | you welcome mate, well the guys covered most of it. This is what I do before I start playing at gigs. 1. Reboot my MBP. 2. Make sure all the cables are plugged in correctly (USB, Power cord, RCA's etc) 3. Turn of my Blutooth, Wifi, and change my power settings to max. 4. Check the volume levels on my S4 and the club mixer. 5. Load up the next track, mix in and play! |
Kathaleen Rannebarger 15.06.2011 | Thanks pal! Got any tips? Stuff to believe about? Maybe what to NOT do? I'm pretty nervous although when i used to rap i stood in front of 25 000 people xD! |
Candy Vardy 15.06.2011 | Good luck to all of you guys! Just remember to have fun and enjoy yourselves! |
Kathaleen Rannebarger 15.06.2011 | Sweet, im doing it toevening ! |
Mariann Brabec 15.06.2011 | I too will be mixing my first real gig on my S4 this weekend, will post on saturday -SAGE |
Kathaleen Rannebarger 15.06.2011 | Thanks guys! Now i know they use Rca there ive already checked that! But i will buy that stuff incase when i get my paycheck! Love djing! |
Yee Bedilion 14.06.2011 | have rca/xlr converters incase there is no mixer to in-line. Probably wouldn't hurt to have one of these if your using the RCA I've had a hum with my audio 8 on a djm-800 before. Bring a flashlight. +1 on the reboot. Dont spend the 10 hours prior to your gig djing, you will be burned out. Have yourself ready to play the evening before and relax during the day. Drink lots of water, but don't drink so much that you'll be pissing every 15 minutes. |
Leeanna Ayla 14.06.2011 | And bluetooth. |
Jayna Cristofori 14.06.2011 | Turn wi-fi off |
Kathaleen Rannebarger 13.06.2011 | Nothing else .. ? Thx btw |
Leeanna Ayla 13.06.2011 | Reboot your computer before you start. |
