Leeanna Ayla 04.07.2011 | You assign which deck the FX bank effects by using the deck assign buttons. Take a look at the manual, all of this is explained in there. |
Kathaleen Rannebarger 04.07.2011 | When i play a track on deck C, and i turn on FX on FX3 nothing happends, When i play a track on deck C and turn on FX on FX1, deck C gets effected. hope it makes any sense |

Gigi Weese 04.07.2011 | not that hard. You can switch to deck C/D explained here: https://co.native-instruments.com/kn...ith%20one%20X1 |
Kathaleen Rannebarger 04.07.2011 | i cant seem to get it :S |
Judi Sissel 04.07.2011 | Ive grown to like this mapping http://traktorbible.com/freaks/mappingview.aspx?id=167 |
Leeanna Ayla 04.07.2011 | Check the little buttons labeled 1, 2, 3, 4 . Those tell Traktor what deck to apply the effect to. I also suggest you spend some quality time with the manual. Lost to be learned in there including how to control change those with the S4. |
Kathaleen Rannebarger 04.07.2011 | Another thing. If i play 1 Track on Deck A and 1 Track on Deck C, i put an effect on deck C, but deck A also gets effected? Anyway around that? |
Leeanna Ayla 04.07.2011 | Well look for a mapping that does that if there's not one you'll have to map it yourself. It's really pretty easy. Check the command finder to find what the midi command is called and add in on your mapping. http://traktorbible.com/en/t2_commandfinder.aspx |
Kathaleen Rannebarger 04.07.2011 | That's the problem, i dont use sample decks that much, i want the X1 to control Deck C (trackdeck) and deck D (sampledeck) |
Leeanna Ayla 04.07.2011 | There's a lot of redundant stuff in the native mapping when using it with an S4. I would check Traktor Bible for different mappings focusing on the sample decks. Might I suggest my mapping http://traktorbible.com/freaks/mappingview.aspx?id=207 Padi's got a good on there to as well as a few others. |
Kathaleen Rannebarger 04.07.2011 | I don't have any custom mapping, just the original. Yes, it's 2.0.3, Damn i wish it was as easy as it was with the s4 dont know what to do! |
Leeanna Ayla 04.07.2011 | What mapping are you using? Check the X1 tab in preferences to set what decks it controls. Make sure to update to 2.0.3 since there was an update that has better X1 integration in it. |
