Track BPM - What do you do?
Posted on: 06.07.2011 by Sadie Steager
Hi Guys,

Traktor S4

1.)
Most of my tracks show up as BPM 126.99 or 127.1 and so on.

What do you guys do. do you leave it like that or do you correct it.

2.)
Which map do you load for your S4.
If I load the default I can't edit the file.
Should I load the user tsi.
I would like to use the loop recorder for something else.

Thank you

Mi.Lo thank you,
I understand that, but in the default mapping that should clash with the loop recorder settings as you cannot delete it with the S4 normal mapping.

I was just scared of that.

Thanks again.

to use the loop recorder for other purposes u have to create a new S4 user mapping with just the commands u want to bind.

Thanks, I'm busy with the traktor bible, sh*t it's a lot of reading.
and now it relates to traktor 2 instead of the S4 version

I let Traktor analyze the files that Traktor is going to sync. After that I do the same as JesC. As far as your other question goes you really need to take a look at the manual.

Thanks JesC,

I thought it might mess up something as I've done the analysis with Mix meister BPM analyzer.
I've done them with the traktor software but they went back to what they were before.
