Couple of Questions before purchase
Couple of Questions before purchase Posted on: 08.07.2011 by Vikki Jeannoel Hey Lads!I'm currently using a hercules RMX, with traktor pro 1.2 on my macbook pro , and now im ready for an upgrade! So i've found the best price on an S4 for me (buying it from the USA, and having it shipped over) This is the best way for me as its cheaper and the power adapter for the S4 is 100-240 volts, and has adapters for the UK Couple of questions before i click that "buy" button. If my S4 comes with traktor S4 Software, will i still be able to upgrade to traktor pro 2 for free? and if so how does this work? Also will i have to uninstall my 1.2 version of traktor before i install the new traktor software or will the 2 different versions of the software run side by side with no problems ? And also can someone recommend the best case for it? I dont want a hard case i want a soft case kind of like the sleeve i have for my macbook except for the s4. | Vikki Jeannoel 08.07.2011 | i looked up the price on the store by making an account and selecting my address and selecting the s4. the shipping is a fair bit and the total cost would equal about the same as me buying it new in the uK I believe i will buy it used off ebay haha thanks for all the help thought i cant wait to get one! |

| Kristofer Krauel 08.07.2011 | Have you also accounted for the import tax you will have to pay customs when it gets to the UK? Should still work out cheaper but it's gonna add 20% to the cost. DJTT bag looks nice BUT it's been on "order" since beginning of June and when they do come in stock they have very few and sell within an hour. Shame really cos I love the look of it. I've just ordered the Gator G club dj controller bag. Pretty cheap and looks nice. |

| Leeanna Ayla 08.07.2011 | The upgrade to T2 will always be free. The upgrade to Traktor Scratch Pro is only free if you buy the S4 in July. I'm not sure how much you're getting the S4 on ebay for, but you might want to check the DJTT store as they have some pretty sweet deals going. |
